Who We Are
Our Drive
Lisa’s legacy continues to inspire everything we do. Through our ongoing efforts, we honor her memory by carrying forward the values she held dear—compassion, kindness, and a deep commitment to helping others. Her passion lives on in every life we touch, every act of service we provide, and every step we take to make the world a better place. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit remains a guiding light in our mission and a lasting source of strength and purpose.
Our Mission
At Lisa’s Closet, we are deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students who need it most. What began with our very first fundraiser in June 2021 has grown into a mission fueled by compassion, community, and the desire to give every child the tools they need to thrive. From the very beginning, our focus has been on providing essential items—like shoes, clothing, and books that teach kindness—to students throughout the Vilonia school district. These aren’t just donations; they’re small acts of love and support that remind each child they are seen, valued, and not alone. Every item we give is a reflection of our belief that meeting basic needs opens the door to greater confidence, learning, and hope. Through the continued support of our donors and volunteers, Lisa’s Closet remains a beacon of generosity and care, carrying forward a mission that uplifts lives one student at a time.
Our Work
With the generous support of our donors and volunteers, we've already made a significant impact. So far, we've distributed 474 pairs of shoes, 400 pairs of socks, and 250 books on kindness. Additionally, we've provided coats, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and belts to hundreds of students.
Our goal
While our journey began with serving the campuses of Vilonia schools, including the primary, elementary, middle, intermediate, junior high, and high school, we have ambitious plans to expand our reach in the coming years.
